Build Me A Sanctuary, I Desire To Dwell In Your Midst.
He That Hath An Ear,
Let Him Hear.
At Odd Hours Of The Night,
He Came In As A Whisper.
At Unfriendly Hours,
As A Still Small Voice,
He Came With A Word, He Carried A Message.
To My Heart He Spoke,
My Mind He Visited;
“I Need A Place,
Where My Spirit May Rest.
I Need An Abode,
Where My Presence Can Make A Home.
Within He Who Has Clean Hands,
And A Pure Heart,
Preferably.
Near To Him Who Walks Uprightly,
And In The Midst Of He Who Calls My Name.
Call Upon Him Who Is Available,
Spread The Word To He Who Has The Resources,
And Send The Specifics To Ho Who Has Both The Skills And The Tools.
From Far And Wide,
Let Them Come.
Must I Remain Homeless Any Longer?
Roaming Within The Desert In Circles.
From Tent To Tent, And Piled Stones To Well-Crafted Open Air Alters.
I Want To Dwell Within Homes.
I Yearn To Commune With You, Once Again.
Now That You Have Been Clothed.
To Hear The Words Of Your Heart,
Partake In Your Hearty Conversations,
And Share In Your Joy's.
Must I Be A Distant Idea?
A Belief, Farfetched To Many And Held Dear By A Few?
Allocated To A Single Wall,
When I Could Take Up Space,
Becoming Your Dearest Confidant.”
I Desire To Dwell In Your Midst.
