“He Lamented Over You” - Absalom's Perspective (Part 2)

He wept.
He actually mourned the devil's son,
That deflowered his daughter!
Can you believe such a thing?

Truly he felt no love towards his own seed.
Shedding tears over such a scoundrel's life.
I haven't done enough.
I haven't struck the right cord yet.

Tearing apart his precious garment in lamentations.
And still, haven't visited the damsel his son discarded.
A Father indeed.
What lies he told my mother,
That influenced her to birth a child so unfavorable before the kings eyes.

(Sigh) At least she has been avenged.
He got what he deserved. A righteous judgment.
Since the king has lost his sense of justice,
I met it out in his stead.
What must I do now?

I need to live another day.
I need to be alive to make my next move.
If he wept so bitterly over such a prince,
Imagine what he'll do at the height of his grief?
I'm no longer safe within these walls.

I need to flee, and now.
My sister's heart is at rest,
But my life is in danger.
I have no choice but to flee.
